February 1st - Pirate Valentine

I'd walk the plank for you! You are my treasure.

My boys love pirates, what a great way to start this month.

I found this fabulous valentine printable. It wasn't exactly what I was looking for so I tweaked it a bit, but I am sure Ez and Eli will get a kick out of this.

Fourteen Days of Love for My Little Men

So tomorrow is the first day of my favorite month of the year... MY BIRTHDAY MONTH! Okay, maybe that sounds a little self centered by my birthday also happens to be Valentines Day, and my anniversary. (Yes I made it super easy on my husband, he will never forget the day, but yes he does have to buy me three separate gifts.)

I love everything about Valentines Day. And I have, thankfully, passed that love down to my boys. This year, because it sounded fun, they are getting fourteen valentines, one each day February 1st through the 14th. I didn't make these up, they are a conglomerate of things I found googlining and pinning and a few of them I did use my rusty old brain for. I am going to try and post daily pictures, but until them I thought I would share my list with you of what I am going to do in case you need a little love inspiration for your children.

My little men and me.

1. You are my treasure. (I got them bags of chocolate coins)

2. You make my heart glow. (Glow stick)

3. You're the apple of my eye. (Apples and apple juice)

4. I  "chews" you Valentine. (Big League Chew of course!)

5. You rock Valentine. (Pop Rocks)

6. I'm nuts about you. (Trail Mix)

7. Life would be unbearable without you. (Gummy Bears)

8. I love you s'more. (S'more Kit)

9. I love you more than bacon. (This is just a little card but I am baking them bacon hearts, bacon is a real treat in our
house.)

10. You make my heart pop. (Popcorn bucket and a lovely dovey movie. I am thinking Lady and the Tramp.)

11. I have a crush on you. (Orange Crush.)

12. You make my heart bounce. (Sky balls)

13. Do I have a shot at being your valentine? (Nerf Gun.)

14. Valentines Basket and Letter. (I will write them a letter in the journal that I keep for each of them where I have written them since they were born.)
